Regular cervical traction with the VivoSleep Neck Stretcher can help relieve neck tension, improve spinal alignment, and support better posture. I recommend it to my patients for daily neck care and long-term spinal health.

Gives a gentle upward grip to provide a pleasant stretch in the neck and upper shoulder region.
Restores range of motion; a looser, more flexible neck makes it easier to hold your head in a healthy, upright posture.
The gentle neck stretch provides a recalibration to the forward-head posture and increases awareness of comfortable head and neck positioning.

Control the traction gradually so each session feels comfortable rather than overly intense.
The simple home setup helps you maintain a consistent stretching routine without bulky equipment.

Start Short: Begin with 1–2 minutes, 2–3 times per week.
Build Gradually: Increase sessions slowly, up to 5–10 minutes.
Stay Comfortable: Stop if you feel sharp pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort.
Move Gently After: Follow with slow neck turns or light tilts.
Short, consistent sessions make neck stretching easier to maintain.

Our Testimonials

"It's literally one of the best purchases I've made for my day-to-day well being in a long time and it's not nearly as complicated or uncomfortable as it looks in the pics / vids. My only regret is that I didn't know something like this existed sooner!"

"As someone with cervical and thoracic spine issues this is a Godsend! Excellent price and omg it feels soooooo gooooood. And Piper likes it too LOL!"

"I got the pro version since I wanted to get a bit more pull and boy does it feel good. I finally got that upward crack that I've been trying to get for years. Highly recommend."

"Used it 3 times, first time wasn’t bad just had to get use to it. 2nd time absolutely amazing. My neck popped in places I’ve been trying to get for over 10 years. My range of motion to the right was very limited"

Our daughter has muscle weakness that has resulted in her head falling to one side and a resultant tight muscle on that side that she can’t pull against to lift her head. This device, along with strengthening and massage have increased her neck range of motion enormously.

"I’ve tried a million traction devices to help expand my neck and relieve pain from a herniated disc. This is legit… and it even works when you don’t read the instructions and use the head brace backwards… not that I did that or anything for the first 2 minutes. 😉😬."

"I was actually pretty skeptical like many. Considered buying the $400 apparatus but decided to give the cheap one a go first. I was having issues with C6 and 7. Tons of numbness down my left arm. I used this a few days a week for about 15 minutes and within a month I had zero issues with my arm anymore. It does what it says and I’m very satisfied with the purchase."

I really like this but always super paranoid the bar will come crashing down on my head when I really put my weight into it. I will need to figure a security feature to add to the bar/doorframe. My daughter loves it too 😁

"I bought this and tried it and it helped. It has a ratchet action that enables you to pull it up and then not hold onto the handle if you don't want to. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because once you're ready to get out."
A cervical neck stretcher is designed to gently stretch up the cervical region of the neck. The VivoSleep device has adjustable traction to offer short, controlled stretching at home.
It is used to hold the head, and the tension gradually pulls upward. This will allow the neck and surrounding muscles to stretch without having to move from their seated or comfortable position.
Use the intended mount to secure the apparatus, place the head snugly in the support, and gradually increase the tension. Don't start with a hard pull but with a mild stretch.
Begin at approximately 1-2 minutes per session. The length of the sessions can be increased as you become more familiar with the device and the stretch becomes comfortable. VivoSleep suggests building up to around 5 to 10 minutes as tolerated.
VivoSleep suggests starting with 2-3 short sessions each week and slowly building up to more as the stretching program becomes comfortable. Avoid increasing both force and session length too quickly.
The mounting option indicates the point at which the traction system can be attached. VivoSleep currently has a door mount option, and the Pro version has a pull-up bar option too. Select the configuration for the intended site of installation.
If sharp pain, dizziness, numbness, or unusual pain occurs from traction, do not use the device. Individuals with neck, spine, neurological or other health issues should consult qualified medical personnel before using.
